I had a fish and chips for the first time here, I must say it was one of the best fish I have eaten! The battery was lovely and crispy( not soggy!) And the size was quite decent. The chips were nice. I would definitely go back when in the area!

We had lunch for 6 people from Kent Fish Bar today, and I can honestly say it was the best cod and chips I have had for a very long time! The pieces of cod were absolutely beautiful, all cooked freshly to perfection, with tasty crisp batter. The chips were excellent too. Keep up the good good work chaps! Highly recommend.

The fish and chips here are really nice and the portions are good as well. I used to use Hasbury Chippy but over the last 12 months the Quality has gone steadily down hill, but not the price. Kent road has got the quality and is not overpriced, the staff are great and seem keen to keep their standards high.

Had a beautiful piece of GENUINE fresh roe cooked fresh with chips for £4.50 and the memories of yesteryear with my Nan came flooding back(only get fresh roe when there's an R in the monthshe used to say). Lovely friendly staff and scented geranium plants in there to take you back to good old chip shops.
